KIMWASCO is governed by a Board of Directors (BOD) comprising of eight members including the utility’s Managing Director. The day to day operational management of KIMWASCO is the responsibility of the corporate management team headed by the Managing Director under the supervision of the Board of Directors. The role of the BOD is to provide policy guidelines in the management of the Company. The Board has the responsibility to establish and maintain full and effective control over the strategic, financial and operational direction of the Company as well as ensuring compliance to policies and procedures. It also has responsibility to mobilize resources and lobby for conducive water sector policies and legislation.
