PUBLIC NOTICE ON TARIFFS REVIEW
Notice is hereby given to the general public that Kiambere-Mwingi Water & Sanitation Company Ltd (KIMWASCO), which is a water service provider entity in Kitui County and has authority from the County Government to provide water and Sanitation services within its jurisdiction as per license, has applied to the Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) for a regular tariff review in the interests of consumer protection.
KIMWASCO proposes an upward tariff review to enable it to operate at full cost recovery and meet conditions for improving service delivery.
Details of the current tariff and the proposed tariff as well as WASREB Notice to submit comments can be obtained free of charge from KIMWASCO website: www.kimwaso.co.ke. Hard copy can be obtained from KIMWASCO offices situated at Kenya News Agency Building opposite KCB Mwingi Branch in Mwingi town during working hours upon payment of Ksh. 100.00.
Written comments on improvements in service delivery and/or comments on the upward tariff review should be addressed to:

The closing date for such comments shall be on 23rd May 2024. A public consultation meeting shall be held on 20th May 2024 starting 10.00AM at the Mwingi Resource Centre in Mwingi town.
